    Our annual Fall Festival is our main Fall outreach event. This year we had about 150 participate. They came and pretty much stayed from beginning to end. They had fun, heard the plan of salvation, ate hot dogs, listened to great music, took home sacks of candy and Hilltop info and all in a safe          environment. We have several good prospects and families as a result. Much Thanks goes to Kathi who put it together, to Kitty for allowing us to use Vinson Valley again, to the volunteers who manned the tables and activities, to the cookie (etc.) cooks for their creative and delicious donations, and the Pine Forest Praise Band (Great job!). Thanks everyone! Now, we start on next year's.

     Soon, we'll enjoy another annual event. On the Sunday   before Thanksgiving, we have our Church Family           Thanksgiving Feast. Hilltop provides the meat and drink, you provide the side dishes and desserts. It's great to share in this truly as a Family of God. Realize, some don't have families to share with. This too can be an outreach opportunity, so invite your friends who need someone to share Thanksgiving with. don't miss it!
     We continue to grow with more new families attending. Usual attendance, on both Sunday and Wednesday is now around 60. Lots and lots of kids and youth, and little ones. So much so that we will be separating the Preschool and Nursery as we had discussed. The Nursery will be moved into the front room behind the pulpit, with the Preschool being in the current nursery. This means we need more volunteers. Please step up to the opportunity.
     One last thing. Giving.  Yes, the economy is not so good and we are all stretching dollars. It's a big boat and we are all in it together. Remember, either you trust God or you don't. He is faithful and never fails. If we will be faithful to Him, greater blessings will follow.  God is good
